Our Journey
Code Black Indy, Inc. was established to bridge the digital divide in Indianapolis by empowering underserved communities with essential technology skills. Starting with grassroots workshops, the organization quickly recognized the need to ensure everyone has digital access, focusing on providing both basic and advanced tech education in local schools, libraries, and community centers.
Growth and Impact
Code Black Indy expanded its reach by developing K–12 digital literacy pathways aligned with IDOE standards, including Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs for high school students. Partnering with schools and industry leaders, the organization equips students with tech and business skills, while its Business & Technology Integration program helps local organizations enhance their operations through technology.

Today, Code Black Indy is a leader in digital empowerment in Indianapolis, providing vital skills to thousands and fostering community growth. Through initiatives like Digital Navigator programs and tech workshops, the organization continues to support community members with the greatest needs, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed in the digital age..
